Congratulations Gabriela(Gabby) Salas!
I was at Hopkins Plaza recently completing a file audit and met Gabby for the first time. First impressions mean a lot, and she was all smiles.
During the course of the day, Felicia placed a call to deny an applicant. The applicant came to the office a little later, as she did not understand why she was denied. There was a language barrier and Felicia called Gabby to interpret in Spanish. I was in the back office working and could hear the conversation that took place. Felicia would ask a question, Gabby would translate it, the applicant would answer, and Gabby would give the answer back (translated again) to Felicia. This went on for about 20 to 25 minutes until the applicant left understanding why she had been denied.
Felicia later informed me that Gabby provides this service for the office whenever they need it. What an awesome employee to come help the office out when needed, and happily state that it was “not a problem to help out.” Felicia and Talesha also state that Gabby often goes above and beyond the call of duty. Anytime anyone comes in who needs a Spanish translator, she jumps right in without hesitation. And she always does it with a smile! Gabby also makes herself available to translate after hours and never complains. We are so grateful to have her on our team. She makes a great addition to Hopkins Plaza!
