This past Wednesday was StuartCo’s annual Career Development Day. The entire StuartCo team gathered for an all day event attending motivational and educational seminars, a luncheon, and a state-of-the-company address.
The day began with a talk from our founder Stuart Nolan, who shared his insights on the state of the industry, as well as his predictions for the coming months. Our President and CEO Lisa Moe then updated us on the state of the company, as well as what has been achieved, learned, and what to focus on for 2015.
Following, we had a message from keynote speaker Anne Sadovsky, who spoke about how “Fair Housing is for Everyone.” Anne Sadovsky, a Dallas based professional speaker provides training, keynotes and counsel to a variety of industries, businesses and associations. Her experience, expertise, wisdom and wit were just what we needed to start off our day!
We were then inspired by David Faust, affectionately known as “Cowboy Dave,” on how to “Plan to be Positive.” David Faust, President and Founder of Stonehouse Resources has been training and consulting with companies and individuals since 1977. His workshop focused on the science of being positive, as well as how to increase our positivity both personally and professionally.
After the keynote speakers, all of StuartCo got together for a delicious and healthy company luncheon. During the luncheon two members from Health Source Solutions introduced our NEW StuartCo wellness website, which was custom-designed for the use of StuartCo team members and their families.
StuartCo team members then broke up and attended three sessions on various topics related to customer care, professionalism, and wellness to name a few.
