The Twin Cities frequently rank highly on all kinds of “best of” lists—it’s safe to say we live in the one of the best places in the country. And we think one of our best suburbs is Edina. Just a few miles from the heart of Minneapolis, Edina has so much to offer when it comes to dining, shopping, recreation, and entertainment.
Lucky for us, we have two wonderful apartment communities in Edina.
York Plaza boasts spacious homes with a variety of amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools and a fitness center.
One Southdale Place is a luxury community featuring stylish urban design, upscale finishes and amenities such as concierge services. With Southdale Shopping Center as our neighbor, it’s easy for residents to grab whatever they want or need at the mall without having to battle traffic!
Both communities are also walking distance from Centennial Lakes and the Edina Promenade—take a stroll to this beautiful park with pathways weaving around a 10-acre lake. During the summer, you can rent a paddleboat, fish in the pond, watch a sailboat race, play a game of croquet, or have a lakeside picnic. Looking for something to do indoors instead? Leave your car in the garage (a space is included with your rent at both York Plaza and One Southdale Place!) and walk over to The Galleria, one of Minnesota’s finest shopping destinations. Find a great summer read at Barnes & Noble, new dinnerware at Crate & Barrel, and replenish with a delicious meal at Peoples Organic. Just don’t forget that Southdale Shopping Center is right across the street—take in a movie at AMC Southdale, or have some arcade fun at Dave & Buster’s!

- Head to 50th and France—check out an indie film at the Edina Cinema and grab some delicious dessert at Yogurt Lab afterward!
- Play a round of golf at the Braemar Golf Course
- Turn a rainy day into an adventure with an afternoon at Edinborough Park’s indoor playground
