StuartCo’s Top Five Fall Activities

‘Tis the season for boots, scarves, hot apple cider, and of course, pumpkin spice lattes!

Fall is one of our favorite seasons at StuartCo, and knowing that winter is right around the corner, we make sure to make the most of it.

We asked a few of our team members for their favorite ways to enjoy this season in the Midwest—without further ado, here is StuartCo’s Top Five Fall Activities!

Chelsea

#5: Day Trip to Taylors Falls

“Take a day trip to Taylors Falls—make sure to stop at Franconia Sculpture Park on your way (it’s free)!

After you’ve had your fill of art, head to Interstate State Park for a day of hiking the trails bluffs. Finish your day with a good meal at The Drive In or Tangled Up In Blue.

Don’t have kids with you? Check out The Dead End Hayride on your way back—hands down the best haunted attraction in town!”

– Chelsea Vadner, Property Manager, E Street Flats

Adam

#4: Twin Cities Horror Festival (October 26th– November 5th, 2017)

“Terrifyingly amazing artists display their talents at the Twin Cities Horror Festival at the Southern Theater in Minneapolis. Hold on tight for 11 nights of thrilling hauntings and interactive plays sure to get everyone in the Halloween spirit.”

– Adam Maass, Leasing & Marketing Coordinator, One Southdale Place

Jess

#3: Waldoch Farm

Waldoch Farm has been one of my favorite places to visit this time of year—they have fantastic fresh vegetables, and the petting zoo is really cute!”

– Jess Trumble, Leasing Consultant, Park Glen Apartments

Jill

#2: Scarecrow fun at Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

The Arboretum in Chaska has a few fun scarecrow-themed activities happening now through the end of October—including Scarecrows in the Garden, a Scarecrow Village (including a Pumpkin House), and a chance to make your own scarecrow! “

– Jill Thorson, Property Manager, The View at Long Lake

Devin

#1: Apple Orchards

“It’s practically a requirement to visit an apple orchard during the season—my favorites are Aamodt’s Apple Farm in Stillwater and the Afton Apple Orchard.”

– Devin Diedrich, Leasing Consultant, York Plaza
