Spring is here, and that means it’s time to ditch the treadmill and enjoy our workouts outdoors once again!
We have a variety of diverse outdoor walking adventures in and around our properties—and we want you to experience all of them! Starting March 1, we’re asking you to join us as we #WalkStuartCo. We have seven tour stops that all start right outside the doors of our StuartCo rental communities.
Tour stop #1: The View at Long Lake (New Brighton)
Start your tour up north! Located right on Long Lake, The View features lakeside walking trails that are part of Long Lake Regional Park with a lifeguarded beach nearby.
Tour stop #2: Parkside Apartments at Medicine Lake and Stonehill Luxury Apartment Homes (Plymouth)
Head on over to the west metro and enjoy breathtaking views of French Regional Park and miles of walking paths right on the edge of Medicine Lake!
Tour stop #3: Deer Ridge Townhomes, Raspberry Woods, and Greenfield Apartments (Hopkins)
These neighboring communities are surrounded by beautiful woods with miles of walking trails, and Shady Oak Lake & Beach nearby.
Tour stop #4: York Plaza Apartments and One Southdale Place
When you’re done enjoying the peace and quiet of the woods, make your way to our Edina residences, which have the Promenade and Centennial Lakes Park just outside their doors, offering a three-mile loop in a bustling suburban park.
Downtown Minneapolis/St. Paul
Tour stop #5: Heritage Landing Apartments, Flats & Townhomes (Minneapolis)
It’s time to explore the city! Located in the exciting North Loop neighborhood, Heritage Landing is just steps from green space and river trails leading to the Stone Arch Bridge, Nicollet Island, and Boom Island. Enjoy amazing city views and beautiful nature all at once!
Tour stop #6: Riverview at Upper Landing (St. Paul)
Cross the river and walk the other side! This unique community is located right along the Mississippi River in the heart of St. Paul and features miles of riverside trails. And if you’re catching a show or a game at the Xcel Energy Center downtown, plan to walk instead of drive—we’re just under a mile away!
Tour stop #7: Carver Lake Townhomes (Woodbury)
For the last stop of your tour, head just a little further east to our townhome community in Woodbury, which is surrounded by Carver Lake Park Reserve and features miles of nature trails.
Because it’s March, we know all too well there could still be a snow day or two in the near future. Most of our rental communities offer great fitness centers as an indoor option. Here are a few examples if you’re in search of a new home and want to fire up your spring fitness goals even if it’s still cold and snowy outside:
One Southdale Place
This 24-hour fitness center features precor cardio equipment with individual monitors, as well as free weights & resistance training. Not only that, there are group fitness classes on a regular basis.
If you are or know of a college student in the area, this student housing community in Arden Hills caters to students’ needs and offers a 4,000 square foot sports center with cardio, weights, and gaming. Pilates and yoga classes are also offered regularly.
Genesee Apartments and Townhomes
This trendy community in the heart of the new Penn American District in Bloomington offers complimentary yoga classes, a Wellbeats digital fitness trainer, and 1,700 square feet of cardio equipment, free weights, kettle bells, and medicine balls.
