Louie Loves: Parkside Apartments at Medicine Lake

Louie Loves is a blog series that has Louie, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with impeccable taste (and a big diva attitude) visiting our StuartCo communities and reporting back with his take on the property and the surrounding neighborhood.

For this adventure, my human and I traveled northwest for an adventure in Plymouth, MN. StuartCo has THREE communities in the suburb—our chosen location this week was Parkside Apartments at Medicine Lake. Green space galore!!

While only a 20-minute drive from the city, Parkside feels much like The View at Long Lake did—as if you’re having a weekend getaway in a peaceful little town, but without having to get in your car and fight the traffic to do so. (I love the car, but not THAT much.)

Parkside is a beautiful community in a convenient location. Each apartment features home a private oversized deck or balcony, abundant closet space, and heat and water included in the rent!

In addition to these spacious, bright homes, residents are also able to enjoy many community amenities, including underground parking, TWO fitness centers, a sauna, and an outdoor pool. (Something to look forward to next summer!)

Less than a mile away is French Regional Park—there’s even a walking trail that leads right to the park from Parkside, so residents have direct access to miles of wooded recreation trails.

Situated along the north shore of Medicine Lake, the park offers a variety of outdoor activities for those with two and four legs alike!

Whoa. Look at everything we can do here!

After you’ve worked up an appetite at the park, Five Guys is just down the road! Canines and their families can share a meal of delicious burgers on their patio.

If your humans don’t let you eat burgers, Chuck and Don’s is a couple of miles away. With great food (and treat!) selections, this is one of my favorite places to stop. They also offer nail trimming once a month in partnership with Vet Partners Pet Hospital—you know a diva like me needs a regular pedicure!

I truly enjoyed my time in Plymouth and at Parkside—what a beautiful, peaceful place to call home!
